U of L defense will be too much for Michigan. Great season, but the title comes back to the Bluegrass State. U of L 68, Michigan 60. I am calling it right now.

Never thought I would say this…. But bring it home Louisville….. Win it for my best friend John Martin, a diehard U of L fan. John has been out of action for a while and if anything could bring him back to health, it would be U of L winning the National Title.
Even though I’m a UK fan, we give props when props are due. They won, and they won easily.

As a UK fan, I always hate seeing them lose to U of L. It happens from time to time. Even though the refs gave U of L every call with less than two minutes left, don’t blame the refs. UK shot 41% from the free throw line. UK outplayed U of L in the second half. The game of basketball is a 40 minute game. You have to show up for the entire game. U of L won fair and square. UK hits simple free throws, they easily win this game. They didn’t. End of debate.

Not the end of the world. Our boys can’t be great every year. UK had beat U of L four times during a three year span. UK is coming off back to back Final Fours and a National Title. What is there to be sad about? U of L has not won a title since 1986. I was four. Most people don’t recall this title.
2013 – U of L will not win a National Title. They are a good team but not great. They barley won today against a team that shot 41% from the free throw line.
It’s December – Unlike U of L and IU fans, UK fans don’t celebrate games in December. UK fans won’t put the game on a popcorn box or celebrate in drunken rage on malt liquor over a December game. We enjoy seeing banners hung in April.
UK Still Owns You – U of L was the better team today. Clap, clap. UK still leads the series 30-15. That gap is not going to get closer anytime soon.

In 2009, UK and U of L fans witnessed a game between two teams filled with assholes. Cousins elbowed a U of L player and Sosa trashed talked UK players during the National Anthem. 2010, the two coaches trashed each other to the media. In 2011, we saw Pitino tell the media after losing to UK that he would root for them since they were a fellow Kentucky team. This year we saw little mouthing during the game and nice comments from both coaches. It’s just a game. No need for the trash. Tonight is what sports was all about – sportsmanship.
Here is my predication for the game -
I am a UK fan. I feel U of L is due a win. They have lost the past three straight years and last four games against UK. U of L is playing at home this year. So far this season U of L looks like the better team. U of L has more experience and the talent level at UK is not the same as it has been the past three seasons. The drama with Pitino seems to be gone and everything seems to be in U of L’s favor.
With that said, I will not root against UK or predicate U of L wins. I believe the game will be close. UK somehow wins, 68-67. Go Big Blue!

(You think these losers can’t sink any lower? Yes they can!)
Do you remember when U of L joined the Big East? Pitino told the world how the Big East was now the best basketball conference of all-time. U of L fans screamed how much better the Big East was than the SEC (even though the SEC has more National Titles in basketball). All UK (and SEC fans) heard was how the Big East would crush and destroy all other conferences. Good times. Good times.

Today, as we speak, the Big East is dead. Syracuse and Pittsburgh decided to leave for the ACC earlier this year. Rutgers left for the Big Ten. Last year West Virginia joined the Big 12. About half the teams that were supposed to join the Big East turned their backs and decided to stay in the MWC. The Big East is already considered a joke in college football and by the looks of things, it won’t be much better in basketball. So what did U of L do? They jumped ship also. Funny.

I understand why U of L left the Big East. They had to. I have no issue with that. I only mock what U of L fans said for years about the overrated Big East and what their own basketball coach, a has been, had stated. Let’s quote Ricky! This is exactly why I mock U of L fans daily. They are the biggest hypocrites in all of college sports.
Ricky said UConn’s interest in the ACC “the dumbest thing he’s ever heard of.”
Yet you are now joining the “dumbest thing you’ve ever heard of.”
“The ACC, namely certain basketball coaches, did not like the amount of exposure Big East basketball was getting nationally and the amount of tournament teams selected the past couple of seasons,” he wrote.
I guess Ricky likes being among the cowards of the ACC.
“Don’t run away with a girl after one date when you’ve been dating someone else for three or four years. You’ve been dating this woman for 30 years, show a little respect,” Rick said when Syracuse left the Big East.
For a man that cheats on his wife, pays her to keep quiet and then pays her to kill an unborn child, what a stupid statement.

I guess when a fanbase and a team is second fiddle in their state; you do anything to get attention. Being a UK fan, I don’t understand. I enjoy watching my team play in the best conference in all of sports. I also enjoy watching a team that can win a National Title in a major sport. Sorry a U of L fans. Most people don’t recall 1986.

A typical Loserville (Louisville) fan posted this yesterday on my Facebook. Career wise I totally agree that Pitino is the better coach, based on the fact he has won a National Championship. Right now Calipari is at least, ten times better.
This woman like 99% of Louisville Cardinals fans, lacks common sense. They are blinded from the truth, facts and logic. Pitino’s greatness was at UK. In eight short years, 2 of those being lost to probation, Pitino guided UK to three Final Fours, five Elite Eights and a National Championship.
Pitino has been at Louisville since 2001. He has lost in the second round or less, 7 times. He has lost in the first round or made the NIT, 5 times. He is clearly not the coach he once was.
Here is his record while at UK -

The past three years we’ve seen U of L start out “strong”. Of course we UK fans know better. We see that you play absoutly nobody until they finally play UK. In the past three seasons U of L has only played five non-conference games away from the KFC Yum! Center and Freedom Hall, with three of the “away” games being played in Kentucky – twice against UK and at WKU last year. No shock you start every season 11-1, 10-2 or 12-0. I would hope a team from the Big East can beat the OVC, WAC and Sun Conference’s finest.
Pitino’s days of greatness are over. His days of greatness were all at UK. At UK, Pitino took them to three Final Fours, five Elite Eights and a National Championship. Pitino has lost in the second round or sooner 7 times while at U of L, twice making the NIT. U of L has a coach who is years past his prime. It’s cute watching them over-hype a top 35 team year after year.
Remember fellow UK fans the logic U of L fans will use. They beat UCONN last year twice. That means they were better than UK. If U of L would beat IU later in the season that would also mean they are better than UK. Sadly this is an actual debate from U of L fans. Sad that their program has came to that. U of L is what it is – a program built for not making the Sweet 16.

(Morehead State proves U of L wasn’t even the 2nd best team in the state last year)
