Louisville Fans – proof of morons

I wasn’t going to write more articles about the Louisville Cardinals or their idiotic fan base today. After reading the lies, stupidity and myths from numerous Louisville fan sites, I changed my mind. I can’t believe how fucking stupid their fan base is. We UK fans maybe jerks, arrogant and mean spirited, but at least we have common sense. Below I am going to debate a few of their myths I’ve seen on their fan sites.

REFS Cheated – Total myth. The refs were Big East refs. If these refs were going to cheat for anyone, it would have been for Louisville. The refs made horrible calls on both sides. They actually made what should have been a fun game very boring. With that said, nobody cheated.

Fouls won the game for UK – Another myth. When U of L played Memphis the refs called 51. That was okay with U of L fans because they won. 54 fouls were called yesterday and UK won. Now the refs calling so many fouls “cost” them the game. What hypocrites!

Injuries played a factor in the loss – Again, total myth. U of L was only missing Justice and Van Treese. Put together these two averages something like five points a game. I highly doubt they would have made a difference. By the way, Terrence Jones was playing hurt and UK did just fine. You don’t see UK fans making an excuse for his bad play. Jones is healthy; UK wins by at least 20.

UK played at home – Once again, myth.  Now U of L fans know what it feels like since they played their first 12 out of 13 at home. It’s not UK’s fault U of L fans are cheap-skates not willing to travel 76 miles for a game. Seriously, I only saw like 35-50 people in Rupp wearing red. Last year I saw 1/3 of the crowd at the KFC Yum! Center wearing blue. That’s the difference between a real fan base and a fair-weather fan base like U of L’s.

U of L lost because they aren’t that good. Any team from a major conference can win like they do when they play nobody good all year. Like Dick Vitale said, “Does Louisville even have an airport?” Louisville has played two straight ranked teams and lost both games. UK 100% healthy would have easily beat U of L by 20 or more. UK played terrible and led for the mass majority of the game. That’s the difference between a good team and an average team. A good team can play bad and win. An average team plays bad and they lose.

Let’s be honest. Take away Russ Smith and U of L loses by 20-30 points. Deng did nothing but block shots. Sure, he can pull double-doubles down against teams like Arkansas State, big deal. Against UK he looked like a complete nobody. Kuric can score 18 against WKU. He had two yesterday. I enjoyed watching UK expose how bad and weak U of L truly is. Nothing is better than watching U of L trying to run the same plays that work against Lamar, Ohio and Long Beach State and then try to run them against UK. The outcome is always the same – UK wins!

UK won because they are the better team. They won last year because they were the better team. They won the year before that because they were the better team. Don’t hate because your program is second rate. Maybe this year you guys can watch U of L lose to Murray State in the first round.
