My favorite pictures

Since I took down tons of pictures on here, I have gotten emails asking to put some up. Fine, I will. Here are some of my favorite pictures from the past few years. Enjoy.

Here I am fresh back from Ireland in 2010 (see shirt). With me are my friends Shannon and Kelly. No offense to my friend Shannon, doesn’t she look hot in that hat? BTW, I survived a few nights in Dublin. Millions of brain cells did not.

Halloween 2010. Besides Brett (The Penguin), no one is sober in this picture.

I was 20, maybe 21 here. Man I was good looking once. What happened?

Ireland 2010, again. My favorite thing is next to me. Her name was Rosie O’Sullivan. Lovely and I can still hear her beautiful accent like it was yesterday. O’Sullivan means “dark eyed-one” in Irish. This beautiful angel did have dark eyes.

Aww, Shannon and Kristen with me, with Shannon’s husband in the background. Both married, both lovely and I’m still a nerd.

I’m no thug. I’m not ghetto. My alter-ego “T-Bone With A-1″, well, that’s a whole different story. Yes, the gun is real.

It was New Year’s 2013….. I have no clue what’s taking place here. I was on beer #16 along with tons of Bourbon already down my throat.

My favorite person from work with me one night at the Highlands Taproom. Emily beyond beautiful like always!

Halloween 2012. Gilligan’s Island. We came in 2nd. Rigged ass contest.

Sad….. my last night in Ireland 2010. This was me along with some of the staff from the Arlington Hotel. These people were beyond nice and showed me true hospitality. I never felt home sick due to them and I almost didn’t want to leave. If Rosie O’Sullivan would have been mine, I would have never left……

Even though I was not in this picture, this is beautiful to me. This was Ireland. This is where my DNA came from. The forefathers of my dad came from here. I am proud of that. Seeing Ireland firsthand was a dream come true. My dad never got to see Ireland. I made it a goal in life to do so. It was even better than I ever dream it could have been. I am proud of my short-tempered, whiskey drinking, folklore believing, hatred of the British, lover of red-heads and Celtic DNA.

Recap of my year #4 – Things I wish were different

Jessica – I wish she would not get mad over the dumbest things. I wrote an article and posted a comment about Casey Anthony, calling her sexy or something. Yes, I believe this bitch killed her kid. Anyways, Jessica went off about this and stopped talking to me. Jessica was the first love of my life and someone I trusted to this very day. I miss talking to her.

Ashley – Years ago I messed up a great thing. This year for some reason, I thought of Ashley more than normal. I wish I knew something about her. I haven’t seen or talked to her in years. I wish she was my friend. I just want to look her in the eyes and ask her to forgive me for all I did.

Liz – I grew up with her. Dated her. Made love to her. It sucks someone you know is still wasting their life with stupidity. Drug use has ruin a once beautiful smile and one hell of a sexy pair of legs. Sad a pretty and smart girl has no common sense. What a waste.

Working too much – I enjoy the money. I love my job most of the time. Sometimes I feel I work way too much and I’m not there for my friends the way they are for me. I know they don’t see it that way, but I do.

Recap of my year #2 – my friends

John – Besides being a U of L fan, he’s been my best friend since age 14. He is like a brother to me. There’s no telling how many hours I’ve spent talking and hanging out with him in my life. John has always been there for me. He’s one of the nicest people anyone could ever know.

Brett – He’s John’s younger brother. Take everything I said about John and just repeat it. Without Brett, I would have been arrested for no telling how many DUI’s or even worse, dead.

Shannon – I’ve only known her for three years. She is by far, one of the best people I’ve ever met in my life. I talk to her about things I hate talking to my guy friends about. She goes out of her way to be a friend and there’s nothing I wouldn’t do for her, her husband or her family.

Kathy – She is Shannon’s mom. Since Thanksgiving is held at a family member’s home I don’t go to, I have ate at her place the past three years. She treats people like family. I enjoy being called “Son of bitch” or “My bitch” by her every time I see her.

Steve – I met him at work back in 2009. He pissed me off last time I saw him, but still a loyal friend. He drove me home a many nights while I was drunk and saved my ass when a whore ex left me out in the freezing cold once.

Josh – We lost touch for years. We started hanging out again in 2011. Josh is a great guy and father. He makes me laugh probably more than anyone I’ve ever met.

Ryan – We hardly hangout or talk these days. Yet, Ryan has always been a loyal friend. I even dedicated “Woody Long” blogging name in his honor. He influenced my sarcasm and comedy style.

The Clemons’ Family – This is Shannon’s and Kathy’s family. Tommy, Sally, Tammy, Keith, Kevin and Sam are all great people. If I lost my parents tomorrow, I would still have a family. That is how this group of people make you feel. I have never seen a family so close or one that treats outsiders like family the way they do. They are a great group of people.

I have other friends. The people named above are the ones I see most, talk to the most and spend the most time with. Don’t feel left out if I didn’t name you.

Recap of my year #1 – my family

Parents – My parents lived another year. They are both in their 70′s (dad is almost 80) and still with me. I got to see the NCAA Tournament live with my dad and saw UK win a National Title for the third time with my dad. That was priceless. I still enjoy my mom going off on not so nice rants. I enjoyed this when I was 10, 20 and now at age 31.As far as I’m concerned, they both could live another 70 years.

My sister Brenda – When I was a kid she was my favorite sister and she still is. She does a lot for my parents, like seeing them often. She is a great mom and one of the best people I’ve ever known.

My niece Ashley – It seems like yesterday I was holding a little 5 pound something baby. Now she is engaged to a nice guy and getting married. She is a hard-worker and deserves the best in life.

My niece Michaela; My nephew Matthew – They are my sister Brenda’s two kids. I see them a lot and miss them being little. They got me a cool UK blanket for my B-day that they made online. It is now on my bed as the main cover.

My sister Debbie – Probably saw her more this year than in the past five years put together. I got a nice hug and kiss from her on my b-day. Made me feel like a kid again after that.

Luke – He’s Debbie’s youngest kid. Sad that my 19 year-old nephew is like 4-5 inches taller than me. I can’t believe he’s in college now. It seems like he was 10 just yesterday.

Rachel – My sister Debbie’s middle child. I saw her on my birthday for the first time in about 5 or 6 years. She turned out to be a beautiful young lady that I am sure will make some guy lucky.

Rest of my family – Nothing bad. I don’t seem them or hear from them. So I won’t waste my time talking about them.

Some of my birthday presents

Photo: What's better than Eastwood movies? Owning more of them.

The first of Eastwood’s “Man with no name” movies. This 1966 classic is what made Eastwood the “bad ass” of Hollywood.
Photo: Thanks Brett, always wanted my cat to lift weights.
Yes sir, always wanted my cat to lift weights. This was a joke btw………
Photo: The cat weights are fake. Inside was a bottle of this Yummy stuff!
This was inside the “Cat Weight” box. And yes, I am drinking some as we speak.

Photo: Second pic of cigars.

Nice South American cigars. And yes, I’m smoking one as we speak.

Nice blog #16 – children

Children are the most innocent beings on earth. Simple things make them happy. A hug can make their whole day. A candy bar can make them smile. Children don’t worry about the stress from work, a relationship or paying bills. They talk to make believe friends and are easily upset if the believe Santa Claus isn’t bringing them gifts. It sucks that we as adults lose that innocence.

As I stated in my “Guns are Good” article, how people can harm children is beyond me. People who abuse, beat or molest kids should be thrown into the smallest jail cell. There they should be locked away for 24 hours a day eating the worst food known to mankind. They should never be allowed to watch TV, listen to music or know anything about the outside world. People who harm children in any way are the worst scum on earth.

I hope after what happened at Sandy Hook has changed some parents and how they care for their children. Stop watching the NFL game for 5 seconds and hug your kid one extra time. Instead of sleep, read them one more bedtime story. Forget dropping your kids off with grandparents for “alone” time with your spouse. Spend the entire day as a family. I know I will tell my nieces and nephews I love them more than ever, even though they are older and aren’t into that so much these days. With today’s society, it could be the last time I get to.
