Today millions of Americans will celebrate the 4th of July. People will BBQ and grill out. Millions will drink and get drunk. Sadly, most Americans use the 4th of July to party and act foolish. Thousands of Americans risked their life for our freedom. Men like George Washington, Benjamin Franklin and others risked everything to create a free Nation. Today we live in the greatest Nation on earth – The United States of America.
America is far from perfect. We still have the greatest free speech, greatest freedom of religion and greatest civil rights of any government. We have those rights due to the men and women who serve this great Nation. These people give up their freedom so we can have the freedoms I named above. This is why a website like Louisville`s Strange Brew can exist. We are very thankful for our military’s service.
